Let’s Talk!

MEETING OR TRAINING	VIRTUAL OPTION?	WHO SHOULD ATTEND	ADDITIONAL DETAILS
KICKOFF MEETING This meeting is a chance for district leaders to share their vision and goals for rolling out Let’s Talk! so that we can work together to establish an implementation plan that helps realize them.	Yes	District leadership (Usually consisting of these champions)	One 60-minute session + we’ll provide a recording of the session for future reference Participants will need access to a computer or laptop that meets Google Hangouts System Requirements*
SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR TRAINING This training helps System Admins learn how to build their Landing Pages, add/manage Users, customize form messages, and choose their preferred settings.	Yes	All Let’s Talk! System Admins (Those who will be in charge of customizing your Let’s Talk! Account— typically 2-6 people)	One 60-90 minute training + we’ll provide a recording of the session for future reference Participants will need access to a computer or laptop that meets Google Hangouts System Requirements*
GENERAL USER TRAINING This training introduces the basics of Let’s Talk!—including how to manage your inbox, answer dialogues, collaborate with other users, and review your dashboard—and covers best practices for a strong implementation.	Yes	Let’s Talk! Champions, System Admins, and General Users (those who are expected to respond to incoming dialogues)	Each session will be 90 minutes + we’ll provide a recording of the session for future reference Recommended: A brief Virtual Pre-Planning Session between our team and at least one System Admin (ideally whoever from the district is helping coordinate this training) Participants will need access to a computer or laptop that meets Google Hangouts System Requirements* Before this training: System Admins need to add users and assign them to their interest areas General Users need to activate their Let’s Talk! accounts All users should log into Let’s Talk! and complete tour mode Optional: Download the Let’s Talk! mobile app by searching “K12 Let’s Talk!” in your smartphone’s app store

* Please let your Let’s Talk! Implementation Manager know if Google Hangouts does not work for your district and we’ll work with you to find an approach that does.
